Preschool & Kindergarten Program (3 to 6 years old)
"Children have a real understanding only of what they reinvent themselves, and each
time we try to teach them something too quickly, we keep them from reinventing it themselves." Jean Piaget.
The classroom environment is designed so that it includes areas of study, where the child is impelled to work independently.
The child is guided in a positive and lively manner. At this age, the child shows a great interest towards reading and writing,
which is why we will work with emphasis in these areas. Encouragement is kind and positive. We encourage them to come to us,
to get up and try again time after time. Every new skill deserves the same kind of unconditional, loving encouragement. We
emphasize on the development of all the rational intelligence areas: verbal comprehension, mathematical reasoning, memory,
attention, and logic. But ABOVE ALL we emphasize on the areas of practical intelligence: socialization, emotional management,
perseverance, and self-esteem. We consider the teaching of values, ethics, auto-disciplinary habits, order and responsibility
of utmost importance.
